Veterinarians seeking an affordable and easy to use ultrasound system now have a new option to consider.  The Clarius C7 Wireless Micro-Convex Ultrasound Scanner, which is designed for veterinarians who treat small animals, will be available soon. The scanner pairs with both Android and iOS devices for quick scans.

“Since we introduced Clarius earlier this year, veterinarians have been contacting us about the availability of a wireless ultrasound scanner that is suitable for small animals,” said Laurent Pelissier, CEO of Clarius Mobile Health. “We are delighted to offer the Clarius C7 Wireless Scanner, which is designed to scan most animals seen in small animal clinics. We’re now accepting orders for delivery in the next couple of months.”

Clarius users will be able to store and share images for medical review on the Clarius Cloud.  All Clarius Scanners will adhere to DICOM standards, allowing results to be transmitted to telemedicine services for further analysis.

In conjunction with the introduction of its C7 Scanner, Clarius has launched a new website for veterinarians at https://www.clariusvet.me/. The site will feature product updates and educational content for veterinary ultrasound. To kick off the site, Clarius has produced an introductory video series on how to perform common diagnostic procedures on small animal patients.
