Carolyn L. Gegor, CNM, MS, FACNM
Carolyn Gegor began her ultrasound career as a nurse in 1972. She is an alumnae of Georgetown University as a CNM. Her midwifery clinical practice took place at The Johns Hopkins University and University of Maryland. As an educator, Ms Gegor was the Program Director for the Georgetown University’s Nurse-Midwifery & WHNP Program. She has been a co-author and editor of Varney’s Midwifery. Ultrasound remained a part of her patient care and clinical teaching. Now it is a pleasure to assist midwives to learn the important skill of Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) to improve the quality of bedside care
