Join renowned facial plastic surgeons Dr. Steven Weiner and Dr. Stella Desyatnikova as they teach effective imaging techniques to rapidly dissolve cosmetic fillers under ultrasound guidance.

In one hour, you’ll learn how to treat filler complications like a pro! High-resolution ultrasound is now easy to use and affordable for any cosmetic clinic or plastic surgery practice. Dr. Weiner and Dr. Desyatnikova teach how to:

  • Clearly visualize patient anatomy and characterize filler complications in real-time
  • Identify nodules, malar edema and other irregularities associated with fillers
  • Use ultrasound to accurately guide injections and dissolve hyaluronic acid fillers
  • Identify normal and abnormal blood flow and reverse a vascular occlusion

While cosmetic fillers routinely help beautify, it’s important to know how to treat complications, like swelling or migration. While rare, a vascular occlusion is a more serious complication, which can cause blindness or tissue necrosis. Rapid, effective treatment is critical, and ultrasound is your new secret weapon!

In this practical webinar, we look under the skin to clearly visualize muscles, vessels, fascia and problematic fillers. International lecturer, physician trainer and researcher, Steven F. Weiner, MD teaches how to use high-frequency ultrasound to characterize and treat complications in real-time. He shows you how to guide your needle to effectively inject hyaluronidase within an HA nodule to improve patient outcomes. Dr. Weiner often treats patients who have failed treatments by other clinicians due to filler encapsulation or misguided hyaluronidase injections. Using ultrasound, he dissolves their fillers using a more targeted and precise injection of hyaluronidase, directly into the areas of concern. You’ll learn how to use handheld ultrasound to treat your next complication with great confidence!

You’ll further explore ultrasound techniques with double board certified facial plastic surgeon Stella Desyatnikova, MD, who recently won a Maverick Award at the Cosmetic Surgery Symposium for reversing a vascular occlusion under ultrasound guidance in the first American reported case. She reviews real patient imaging to teach you how to use high-frequency ultrasound to visualize the area of occlusion. You’ll learn to differentiate healthy from abnormal blood flow. Dr. Desyatnikova then explains the basic steps for using ultrasound to dissolve fillers causing vascular complications and restore blood flow.

Ultrasound is changing the game and improving patient safety. With the miniaturization of high-frequency ultrasound and advances in artificial intelligence, learning and using handheld ultrasound imaging is now fast, affordable and easy. Watch this on-demand webinar today!
