Watch On-Demand
Watch Now
Point-of-care ultrasound can be a valuable tool in the diagnosis and management of diastasis recti. With real-time imaging, surgeons can elevate planning, execution, and postoperative care to ensure optimal aesthetic and functional outcomes.
In this 1-hour webinar Dr. Khanh will share how handheld ultrasound is transforming the way he evaluates and manages this condition in clinical practice. You’ll learn:
- The prevalence and clinical significance of diastasis recti
- How diastasis recti is diagnosed using wireless ultrasound
- How to tailor surgical approaches based on ultrasound findings, including assessment of rectus muscle thickness and integrity
- Post-operative ultrasound techniques to identify and manage complications early

Join aesthetic plastic surgeon and ultrasound expert Dr. Khanh Nguyen, as he shares practical and repeatable ultrasound techniques that can be applied immediately in aesthetic surgery practice.
Diastasis recti is a frequently overlooked condition that can significantly impact both function and aesthetic outcomes in abdominal surgery. Without proper diagnosis, patients may experience persistent abdominal weakness, core instability, or unsatisfactory cosmetic results despite undergoing corrective procedures. For aesthetic surgeons, failing to identify and quantify this condition preoperatively increases the risk of poor outcomes, unnecessary revisions, and reduced patient satisfaction.
Dr. Khanh Nguyen will present a real pre-operative assessment, surgical case series, and examples of post-operative complications, highlighting the benefits of using wireless ultrasound for his patient assessments.
Join us to discover how integrating ultrasound into your practice can enhance diagnostic accuracy, optimize surgical strategies, and raise the standard of care for patients undergoing abdominal surgery.
