hi i'm shelley and today i'm going to show you how you can zoom your images or zoom structures within your images with your clarius scanner so to do that i'm just going to scan the carotid artery and in particular i'm interested in the intimal lining along the posterior wall now i want to see that a little bit bigger so i have three options so the first option to zoom your image is to just double tap on the image and this is going to zoom your image up 200 percent and then you just double tap again to get back to normal size the next kind of zoom is called a pinch zoom so i'm just going to pinch the image apart at the area that i want to see and i can make that as big or as small as i like and then i can take it back down by pinching my fingers together the third type of zoom that we have is a new one it's called hd or high definition zoom this is where i can actually select a region of interest and perform a right zoom operation on the image to get a nice high quality zoomed image so i'm going to go into the imaging mode settings select the magnifying glass with the cross in it i can adjust the size of this box if i like and then at that point i'm going to double tap within the box and that brings us up a nice clear crisp image of that carotid intimal layer and to get out of that i'm just going to double tap again and we're back where we started so there you have it three different kinds of zoom available to you with your clarius hd scanner you
