The COVID-19 health crisis has caused havoc for patients and pain medicine practitioners. According to the Academy of Pain Medicine, «Access to pain treatment has been called a fundamental human right by numerous organizations.» And yet, at times the pandemic has restricted access to nonemergent procedures. To make matters worse, self-isolation has restricted movement resulting in new and exasperating existing chronic pain conditions in patients.
In this webinar, Dr. David Rosenblum, MD, Director of Pain Medicine at the Maimonides Medical Center in New York, helps pain management practitioners get back on track in successfully delivering on the human right to pain relief. He demonstrates best practices in using ultrasound guidance to target areas of pain with greater accuracy and deliver maximum relief for patients battling chronic pain while also optimizing for infectious control.
Watch Dr. Rosenblum to learn practical tips for occipital nerve block, erector spinae plane block and gluteal tendon injections. A deep dive into 3 real patient cases, recently captured on video, illustrates how needle-guided interventions improve both patient safety and procedural success. You’ll learn how to eliminate guessing on needle placement and wasting precious medications or adjuncts.
Dr. David Rosenblum is joined by Dr. Oron Frenkel, MD, Emergency Physician and Chairman of the Clarius Medical Advisory Board. They show you how to take your procedural skills to the next level with ultrasound-guided injections and strategies you can use with your next patient. Together, let’s put «blind» injections and pandemic pain behind us!
