I personally wish I had it [T-Mode] when I was learning it. The students who are learning it now, being able to watch them use it in real-time, are much quicker at being able to identify different structures. I think it goes a long way in terms of long-term being more precise when you’re doing the diagnostic ultrasound. In clinics, clinicians would be more amped to use it, having more real-time things to guide them.”

Being able to see the multiple layers side-by-side was very helpful in learning. I felt like I learned more today in class compared to just taking pictures and spending a lot of time on my own.”

“I’d like to think that Belmont is definitely at the forefront of using ultrasound. I think it’s helped us get a better appreciation of body structures, and I think it is coming into the PT field.”

When I think about what my students will use in clinical rotations and in their practice, usability will be so important. Clarius not only provides high resolution and affordability, but they’re also able to transport it so easily from one clinic to another, from one setting to another. I have exclusively started utilizing Clarius for all of my academic teaching, my clinical practice, and the weekend courses I provide to other clinicians.”

I would have to say that a big part of Clarius is image clarity. And because we get such a clear picture and once students start to perfect their hand-eye coordination with using the tool, with getting the images on there, I think it enhances immensely their knowledge of basic anatomy. »

I’ve been using it for a year now. I would say I use it in probably pretty much every single one of my pelvic floor assessments. And then also in follow-ups, I use it a ton too. People are like, “I think I’m doing it right. Can we check?””” And then you’re like, “That was way better than last time. TA is moving it’s supposed to.” And it gives them confidence, gets them to keep going and then improving on it.”

It really helps clients understand their body and what’s going on with their body,” she explains. “It’s really helpful to have a client in front of you doing an exercise or using their muscles in a way that you’ve described to them and they can see visually on the screen what is happening. I think that’s just a really powerful way to show people what their bodies can do and what their bodies do do. It’s a great educational resource.”

Patients are always wowed by seeing the image on the screen,” says Adrienne, emphasizing the positive impact of visual feedback. This visual confirmation can also enhance “the motivation for doing pelvic floor exercises, because that can be very monotonous and boring.”

The Clarius system has got a very good image, especially for more superficial tissues and the Clarius voice control features are a fantastic thing for me in the office. It helps me maintain a clean area; I can use voice-activated settings to change the gain and needle mode as I need it. Clarius ultrasound has helped me deliver the best patient care, because I’m able to track outcomes with my patients and show them we’re making progress.”

I can see the needle go in and where the fluid’s going in and the patella tendon and I can see the joint. It really opened my eyes to the possibility that this was something that I could get into because we do a lot of dry needling and soft tissue treatments that we could monitor before and after. »

For a physician who has a sports medicine, orthopaedic, or physiatry practice. It’s an advanced device at an entry-level price, and that’s rare. Traditionally there’s been a direct correlation between the money you spend and the image quality you get on laptop machines ranging from 28,000 to 60,000+ USD. Now, with Clarius, for about 5,000 USD all in, you’ll get a device with the image quality you need that will carry you all the way through your orthopaedic career until you want to do more advanced diagnostics and procedures.”
