Clarius Mobile Health won a Business Excellence Award for Innovation presented by the Burnaby Board of Trade and the City of Burnaby. The award is presented annually to a business that exhibits ingenuity and innovation in product design, marketing, science, technology, productivity, commercialization, business planning, employee training and other business activities.
Laurent Pelissier, who accepted the award at a gala dinner held on November 3 at the Hilton Metrotown, said: “It is a great honour for me to accept this award on behalf of the Clarius team. Our company has grown rapidly to more than 45 people since we established our headquarters in Burnaby in August 2015. We look forward to creating more opportunities in this vibrant community.”
The Burnaby Business Excellence awards (BBEA) is an initiative of the Burnaby Board of Trade and the City of Burnaby, which honours and celebrates businesses, entrepreneurs and not-for-profit organizations for their contributions to the local economy and community.
Now in its 17th year, the BBEAs represent the highest business honour in Burnaby, British Columbia and the BBEA events, culminating in the annual awards gala, are the top business events in the city.
