Labeling ultrasound images (annotations) is used to indicate the area being scanned and to describe pathology.
hi my name is esther i'm going to be showing you how to use annotations when you're using the clarius scanner to select annotations you're going to go to the ruler and the pencil in the lower left hand corner from there you'll see the annotations you tap that with your finger and now you can select what you're scanning in this instance i'm scanning the liver so i'm going to press transverse and then i'm going to select liver and when i tap on the screen you can see both of those transverse liver will be in the lower left hand corner you can also move the annotations anywhere on the screen by tapping them with your finger moving them to where you would like them to be and you can also point to an area of interest for the referring physician to take note of you do that by tapping the pin and pointing to the area that you want to them to be aware of
