hi i'm camilla from first opinion veterinary ultrasound i'm going to demonstrate how to use the clarius c7v to scan the gallbladder on a dog so we take the probe and we place it just behind the zippy sternum facing cranially here we can see the gallbladder and the liver if we rock cranially we get the cranial border of the liver and we can fan all the way down all the way up through the gall bladder until all the livers disappeared then we can see the cord all view by rocking the probe quarterly and fanning all the way up and all the way down through the gallbladder if we return to the mid sagittal view we can rotate the probe 90 degrees and get a transverse view of the gallbladder and the liver so here we can see the gall bladder just there and we can see the hyperechoic line of the diaphragm we fan all the way through cranially all the way through quarterly so when we're fanning down we will get to see any stones or sediment or sludge that has fallen to the the gravity dependent side of of the gallbladder if we're worried about gas when we fan up we'll see the top of the gallbladder and we can see if any gas has risen to the top so to scan the gallbladder we need to see it in situ within the liver so we'll look at the cranial border we'll fan all the way up to the top of the on the left all the way down to the right then we'll look at the cordless border looking all the way to the left all the way to the right we'll rotate the probe 90 degrees to get a transverse view and will fan all the way through cranially and all the way through quarterly
