hello I'm Dr Camilla Edwards from first opinion veterinary ultrasound the case was a cockapoo who was eight years old male neutered with a history of raised liver values on pre-operative Bloods for an orthopedic procedure so we were scanning the abdomen particularly with a focus on the liver to assess whether there was any issues there and this is what we found so this is the liver we have the diaphragm around here this hyperechoic line we've got the liver paranormal around here and then we have the gallbladder here and what we can see as we focus in on this gallbladder is that it has some echogenic content but particularly it is suspended in the center of the gallbladder and it has this stellate pattern and These Arms reaching out to the edges of the gallbladder um which shows that this is in fact a mucosal so again a bit of a closer view of this gallbladder trying to look through it in in various different planes we can see this sludge suspended and we've turned the dog over to see whether it's a tall mobile um which it isn't and we can see these stellate arms out towards the edge of the gallbladder so this was a case of a mucosal and a dog underwent a successful choleocystectomy
