in this video we see the linear scanner on a small parts preset here placed on an enlarged and painful scrotum in a patient as the scanner moves through here we have the outside the skin wall and there's obviously two fluid compartments here first we can identify here this is a testicle with its fairly normal architecture and then it raises suspicion for what this other mass is and as the scanner goes through in high detail we can see what appears to be the wall of intestines through there uh in another view we see here again proximal to the probe is the testicle and deep to it is another fluid filled structure that looks like intestine full of fluid and this is likely intestinal contents present this is all suggestive in this case of an incarcerated or even strangulated hernia with the edema around the testicle and fluid in the intestinal contents that would require urgent reduction you
