Clarius Signs Group Purchasing Agreement with Specialty Networks, Highlighting Strength in Urology, Rheumatology, and Gastroenterology

Clarius wireless ultrasound scanners now available to Specialty Networks member healthcare providers specializing in rheumatology, urology and gastroenterology

VANCOUVER, BC – June 21, 2024Clarius Mobile Health, a leading provider of AI-powered high-definition handheld ultrasound systems has executed a group purchasing agreement with Specialty Networks, an integrated, multi-specialty platform that leverages the power of its network to help independent physician practices specializing in urology, rheumatology, and gastroenterology to improve patient outcomes. The agreement allows their physician members to take advantage of special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Specialty Networks for Clarius technology.

“Partnering with Specialty Networks underscores our commitment to enhancing patient care in urology, rheumatology, and gastroenterology” says Clarius President and Chief Executive Officer Ohad Arazi. “Our affordable AI-powered handheld scanners are perfectly suited to offer high-definition imaging for these specialties, and, unlike traditional cart systems, our portable scanners provide significant workflow efficiency, enabling seamless mobility between rooms or clinics.”

Clarius is the only company offering a comprehensive line of portable wireless scanners and advanced specialty packages designed to deliver superior imaging for a wide range of clinical applications at a fraction of the cost of traditional ultrasound systems.

For urology, Clarius offers a complete wireless solution for genitourinary imaging with the C3 HD3 for transabdominal ultrasound, the EC7 HD3 for transrectal and transvaginal ultrasound, and the L15 HD3 for superficial imaging. Advanced AI-powered software includes Clarius Bladder AI, which automatically and accurately measures bladder volume in seconds to expedite treatment.

For rheumatology, Clarius HD3 high-definition scanners offer detailed joint, soft tissue and vascular imaging in real-time for dynamic assessments of inflammatory arthritis, lupus, vasculitis and more during office visits. Wireless and affordable, Clarius scanners are easy to use for novice and expert users.

For gastroenterology, the Clarius C3 HD3 provides a large field of view for surveying the abdomen for gross changes and guided procedures, while the L15 HD3 high frequency linear provides the high resolution required for bowel wall assessments. Sensitive color and power Doppler can aid in the evaluation of inflammatory disease activity.

“It’s the handheld ultrasound that is going to become the new stethoscope of the 21st century,” says urologist Dr. Kevin Zorn, FACS, FRCSC. “It takes what we have and our current armamentarium from our auditory listening with a stethoscope and the tactile limitation of the distance of my fingertip to something way beyond. Without a doubt, I think the Clarius system allows us to be better urologists.”

Specialty Networks (SN), a Cardinal Health company, is an integrated, multi-specialty platform with GPOs (Group Purchasing Organizations), Life Sciences, and Research solutions in gastroenterology, urology, and rheumatology. SN solutions include patient population health management, patient engagement, clinical research, and workflow automation technologies to achieve Center of Excellence in Standards of Care, Clinical Research, Practice Operations, and Value-based Care.
