It was reassuring, just because in the first trimester you’re always a little bit worried … it felt really good to see the little baby moving around. Because a lot of times in early pregnancy, for example, my midwives, they use a doppler, but they don’t have the ultrasound machine. If it’s too early, they can’t find the heartbeat. So sometimes you leave and you’re not really reassured, but at least having this bedside ultrasound, you can see your baby and you know that everything’s progressing normally.”
