It was reassuring just because in the first trimester you’re always a little bit worried. I really liked it that I could see the baby. Everything seems really high-tech as well and just easy to use and fast. I like the fact that she could just email me the videos and the pictures.

Lisa is currently 10 to 11 weeks pregnant with her second child. She’s an LPN and currently a stay-at-home mom, living her best life. She was fortunate to see obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Ulrike Dehaek for a first trimester examination. “It was reassuring just because in the first trimester you’re always a little bit worried so you just never know how things are gonna turn out,” says Lisa. “It felt really good to see the little baby moving around.”

“It was nice to know the measurements of the baby, and if the growth is going according to my dates. So, that was good to know. And, it’s t’s also reassuring to know the heartbeat is there and just to see the baby moving around.”

“I think it’s always reassuring to be able to see your baby and for your physician to have that handy because a lot of times, in early pregnancy for example, my midwives use a doppler but they don’t have the ultrasound machine. So sometimes if it’s too early, they can’t find the heartbeat – so you leave and you’re not really reassured. Having ultrasound as bedside,  you can see your baby and you know that everything’s progressing normally.”

“I really liked it that I could see the baby. Everything seems really high-tech as well and just easy to use and fast. I like the fact that they could just email me the videos and the pictures so I can share them with my husband.”
