here we see the curvilinear scanner on an abdominal preset placed in the right flank uh immediately is evident the liver tip here surrounded and bathed in a copious amount of hypoechoic fluid where the liver is essentially bouncing around as are the intestinal contents here these findings essentially represent free fluid in the peritoneal cavity possible causes of which could be fairly large given the significant amount of fluid this is likely suspected to be more of a chronic process than a traumatic process but more clinical information would be required to further elucidate the cause you
