The 2-in-1 charging station provides a home for the scanner where it can be easily docked for immediate charging. Additional settings in the Clarius app allow taking further advantage of the charging station by allowing to keep the scanner awake while charging, start imaging upon removal from the station, and the option to set an alarm when the scanner is undocked. Having one or more of these settings turned on allows the user to improve workflow by allowing the scanner to stay permanently on.
when using the charging dock i'll go into the settings and make sure under the charging dock menu that i both have keep awake while charging which keeps the connectivity to the scanner and then image on undock is marked as on this allows me then when i'm ready to go scan by just removing the probe it reduces connectivity time and when the snowflake lights up to orange it's ready to scan similarly when i put it back it will automatically stay connected and end scanning at that time
