Watch On-Demand

Join leading physical therapy educators Dr. Mike Voight and Dr. Chris Wolfe from Belmont University, for a live webinar exploring how handheld ultrasound is transforming MSK education—and why more institutions are integrating it into their programs.
In this one-hour session, you’ll learn:
- The MSK Gap – What’s missing in most training programs today, and how this affects patient outcomes and care efficiency.
- What Practice Demands Today – Common real MSK cases where ultrasound changes decision, outcomes, and billing.
- How Education is Adapting – A behind-the-scenes look at how Belmont is equipping students with ultrasound skills from day one.
- Lessons for Practicing Clinicians – With simplified imaging and AI-powered guidance, it’s never been easier to learn MSK ultrasound.
- Getting Started Tips – What matters most when selecting an ultrasound system, plus practical steps for clinicians and institutions.

POCUS is becoming more widely used across a wide variety of specialties, which is necessitating the need for it to be taught in medical education programs.
Ultrasound has the potential to equip students with a valuable diagnostic tool, enhance understanding of anatomy and physiology, and improve clinical skills. And with the availability of portable, lower-cost ultrasound systems, access to ultrasound education seems more within reach for more schools and students.
Whether you’re training future clinicians or practicing in the field, this webinar will show how handheld ultrasound can elevate MSK care and close the diagnostic gap in physical therapy, and beyond.
