High-resolution ultrasound imaging is highly beneficial for injectors. Join Dr. MJ Rowland-Warmann, founder of Smileworks Training HUB, as she demonstrates ultrasound techniques for safe, predictable, and beautiful lip augmentation.

In this 1-hour webinar, participants will gain valuable insights into the use of high-resolution ultrasound in the administration of lip fillers. Dr. Rowland-Warmann teaches:

  • Lip anatomy and how to scan with relevance to the treatment
  • How to identify the labial artery with color Doppler
  • Where to place filler to avoid compromised tissue or vasculature
  • The sonographic signs of overcorrected lips, such as hypervascularity
  • How to manage overfilled lips – guided vs. non-guided hyaluronidase injections
  • Complications that can occur when injecting the lips

Understanding the anatomy of the lip is crucial for achieving optimal aesthetic results and avoiding complications. Join ultrasound expert Dr. MJ Rowland-Warmann as she uses handheld ultrasound to predictably scan the lips and surrounding anatomy for precise treatment planning.

Lip filler treatments for facial rejuvenation are among the most popular cosmetic procedures today. By using high-resolution ultrasound, Dr. MJ shows how injectors can enhance treatment precision by identifying tissue planes, and accurately identifying the inferior and superior labial arteries to ensure fillers are placed in a manner that avoids compromising tissue or vasculature.

The current trend for plump lips has led to a rise in overfilling, resulting in lumps, bruising, discoloration, discomfort, and poor aesthetics. In response to a wave of media stories about celebrities and influencers opting to have their lip fillers dissolved, Dr. MJ reports observing similar trends in her practice. She provides insights into the ultrasound appearance of overfilled lips and discusses the treatment with hyaluronidase.

Dr. Rowland-Warmann is joined by your host and sonographer Shelley Guenther, who performs live scanning with the Clarius L20 HD3 – now 30% lighter, more affordable, highly specialized for facial aesthetics, and with new voice controls. Elevate your practice and deliver outstanding results. Seating is limited. Don’t miss it – watch today!
