Ultrasound guidance has become a critical safety tool in aesthetic medicine. Studies have demonstrated that ultrasound significantly reduces the risk of vascular complications by enabling practitioners to visualize facial vessels and avoid them during injection.
By providing detailed anatomical mapping before and during procedures, ultrasound transforms aesthetic practice from a blind technique to a precision-guided approach, protecting both practitioners and patients. And beyond safety, ultrasound enhances aesthetic outcomes by allowing precise product placement at the optimal depth and location, helping practitioners achieve more predictable, natural-looking results while using appropriate product volumes.
Mastering these fundamental techniques will boost your confidence, improve patient safety, and make facial ultrasound an efficient, integrated part of your aesthetic practice.
Live scanning demonstrations will be performed with the Clarius L20 HD3—our ultra-high frequency scanner designed specifically for facial aesthetics—showing you exactly how these techniques work in real-time.
