A Clarius customer since 2018, Marc J. Salzman, MD, FACS is recognized in Louisville for his cutting-edge plastic surgery techniques. He is a double Board-Certified aesthetic plastic surgeon who has been practicing in Louisville since 1992. He shares his thoughts about how he switched to Clarius from his traditional ultrasound system.
«As a plastic surgeon, I have been using Ultrasound in my practice since 2012.
Over the last year, I have been using a Wireless Clarius device. First the L7 and now the L7 HD. The form factor of the new L7 HD is much smaller and easier to fit in the hand. The customizable buttons on the device make annotating and saving images much easier.
The image quality of the $4,900 Clarius device is world’s better than the $41,000 [cart-based system]. I use the Clarius device in my practice every day. Examining breast implant integrity, evaluating and treating seromas, TAP and PECS blocks and safe BBL fat grafting are all done with the aid of the Clarius ultrasound. For me, it’s the plastic surgeons’ stethoscope.»
This abdominal seroma was captured with the Clarius L7 HD Scanner. The L7 HD scanner provides high resolution imaging for plastic surgeons for procedures up to 7cm deep. The L7 is available on our webstore for customers in the United States for $4900 USD and Canada for $6475 CAD. pic.twitter.com/j0qkNW60B8
