As our Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for qualifying and converting sales qualified leads. You will primarily focus on identifying qualifying clinicians, clearly communicating Clarius’ value proposition, uncovering potential opportunities, and ultimately securing introductions/handoffs for the Sales Team. You will drive demand for Clarius Mobile ultrasound products and solutions in a variety of ways, including further qualifying leads that have been generated by marketing, managing and qualifying inbound lead activity, engaging in prospecting and cold calling, and in successful handoffs to the Regional Sales Managers.

You will

  • Perform 30-50 warm/cold calls, emails, and other sales activities daily to drive online sales, schedule discoveries/demos, and make successful handoffs of sales qualified leads (SQLs)
  • Gain the trust of medical professionals and secure their interest in improving patient care by using high-definition ultrasound imaging
  • Commit and show eagerness to learn industry related terms and deliver unique key propositions to various types of medical professionals
  • Secure meetings, event registrations and subscription sign-ups, making email introductions to Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), driving online sales, and other actions from prospective customers
  • Interpret data from marketing automation platform to personalize outbound communications
  • Qualify leads based on established buyer personas and target markets to secure introduction calls/meetings for RSMs that generate new sales opportunities
  • Follow up on pre-determined groups of prospects for further nurturing using phone, email, and social channels
  • Leverage inbound leads and outbound activities through proactive and creative prospecting
  • Consult with customers to understand the needs and goals to best align them with the appropriate solution, resources, or internal teams for follow-up
  • Provide excellent customer service, and reach out multiple times to each lead to drive connection
  • Immediately follow up with potential sales leads to qualify an opportunity and arrange and facilitate a sales-driven call
  • Thoroughly support the RSMs to ensure effective handover of qualified leads to closed sales
  • Track and manage prospecting, qualification, and nurture activities in the company's sales force automation platform
  • Leverage sales technology tools to perform outbound activities, including Outreach, Salesforce, Dialpad
  • Maintain Company database (CRM) and lead generation activity records with accuracy

You have

  • Minimum 2 years of prospecting and cold calling experience in sales/business development; preferable in selling SaaS based solutions or Healthcare IT
  • Previous experience in Medical device Sales
  • Required Post-secondary education, University/College degree/diploma within a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is desirable
  • Passion and willingness to build a career in the medical field, and continue to learn and develop your skills via ongoing development
  • Strong selling, customer service, communication, persuasiveness, and negotiation skills
  • Able to respond effectively to multiple priorities and execute in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including knowledge of CRM software
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, demonstrating grit, self-starter who takes initiative to achieve goals
  • Proficiency with marketing automation and SFA systems
  • Strong hunter mindset with B2B consultative selling experience
  • Natural curiosity to interface with others and ask questions; not easily intimidated by lack of knowledge or the seniority of the prospect; eager to learn medical terms to gain clinician trust
  • Competitive and motivated; self-starter who takes initiative to achieve goals
