As our DevOps Specialist, you will help extend, design, build, and automate the Clarius Cloud framework and platform. You will collaborate and work with the Software Developers and Architects to build out an automated CI/CD environment.

You will

  • Work with Architects, application software developers, QA and user experience teams to create and maintain the CI/CD pipelines
  • Architect, build and maintain a scalable multi-stage AWS infrastructure
  • Support a wide range of teams ranging from embedded software teams to teams developing software for the Cloud and our clients
  • Contribute to the design of overall software system architecture
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve relevant issues based on testing, and user validation
  • Support and improve tools for continuous integration, automated testing, automation, and release management making software development as efficient and effective as possible
  • Unify our development pipeline, build process, testing and deployment strategies across diverse teams
  • Research, evaluate, and develop new tools to improve product development efficiency
  • Support the development team and automate processes to improve development lifecycle
  • Design and implement effective monitoring and alerting to ensure the health and performance of production applications
  • Mentor junior developers to help them grow their experience and knowledge

You have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience building large scale systems
  • A background in software development
  • DevOps experience with the AWS cloud platform (or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as code, using Docker, CloudFormation, Terraform, Chef, Ansible or other tools
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab or GitHub
  • Hands-on experience with containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
  • Strong agile product management knowledge, experiences working with high performing software development teams
  • Experience with Python is highly desirable
  • Experience with C++ is desirable
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Desire and willingness to constantly learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
  • Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
