hi my name is Shelly today I'm going to tell you about a mode in the clarus app now a mode stands for amplitude mode and it's a really useful tool in Opthalmic Imaging it's different from B mode B mode shows you more diagnostic appearances of things within the eye the a mode is great if you want more accurate measurements of different structures in the eye and what a mode does is displays a series of spikes um that you can perform accurate measurements on so let me show you how it works so I've gone into the ocular preset and I'm using the l20 scanner and I'm going to place the scanner on the patient's eye and just have them look straight up and down great and so when I've got a good picture and I want to enter into a mode I go into the modes menu select a mode and we've got a nice side by side image of the structures of the eye including the spikes now if there's something that I missed I can cine back and right here are the different spikes that represent all of the structures that the sound is encountering on the way through the eye so I can now go in and measure distance so I can measure say from the anterior to the posterior lens and we get a nice accurate measurement so there you have it now claras offers is a complete solution for Opthalmic ultrasound
