welcome to this case from first opinion veterinary ultrasound I'm Dr Camila Edwards so this case was an 8-year-old female neutered VI Morana with a history of only Metacam for arthritis but recently had vomiting with diarrhea and blood so here we can see um the stomach um we can see the Lumen um with the gas shadowing beneath and we can see the wall here um the wall we can't very see clearly see the wall layering in this region and also um um there's some hyper aoic um stippling in the in the wall um and um this was possibly due to a previous gastropexy um that the dog had had so again looking at the stomach the stomach wall also there were some Loops of intestine which had a thick muscularis layer um such as here popping up there we can see one a thick muscularis layer which um can be seen with inflammatory um as well as neoplastic disease and again this stippling in this wall we can particularly see here um this hyper coic um just little spots in in the wall of the stomach so the changes in the stomach wall with unorganized hyper Co extration may be due to fibrous tissue possibly associated with a previous surgery or the gastropexy that it had the muscularis wall layer in the small intestine can be increased with inflammatory disease and neoplasia and a biopsy is required to diagnose that
