Color Doppler Mode

This technique estimates the average velocity of flow within a vessel by color coding the information. The direction of blood flow is assigned the color red or blue, indicating flow toward or away from the ultrasound transducer.

hi my name is esther i'm going to be showing you today how to use the color doppler on your clarius scanner to turn on the color you press the icon the mode icon on the bottom left hand corner and you select color doppler to move the color doppler box you place your finger in the center of the box and move it anywhere on the screen that you would like to change the size of your color doppler box you place your finger on the lower right hand corner and adjust the size to change the angle of your color doppler box you place your finger on the lower left hand corner and swipe to the left and to the right and to change the velocity you press your finger on the color doppler bar swipe up for increased velocity swipe down for decrease velocity and lastly to adjust the color doppler gain you swipe your finger underneath the color box to the right to increase the gain and to the left to decrease the gain
