I'm going to perform an infr patella saffin nerve block on this patient who has pain on the medial aspect of his knee right by the patella I found the nerve quite distal right at the edge of the patella tendon and it's a fairly superficial nerve block the nerve is less than 1 cm depth probably closer to half a centimeter and I'm going to inject him with pivan and a little bit of steroid going to first spray him unfreeze okay John pinch hurting you a lot nope and we're right there feel that John okay and I'm in the plane of the nerve I'm very close to the nerve right now injecting right above it and you can see the nerve under my needle tip and the black is the local anesthetic
