Lower Extremity Vascular Measurements

Lower extremity vascular measurements allow for the addition of detailed vascular studies with Clarius scanners. The Arterial and Venous workflows allow comprehensive examination indications based on measurements performed in 2D and Spectral Doppler imaging. Through an intuitive interface, users can easily select the left or right side to help simplify measurement selection and reporting.

to perform advanced vascular measurements of the lower extremities i'd use my linear scanner and choose my preset arterial or venous here i'm going to choose arterial i'm going to find my artery of interest turn it into longitudinal view i can go into pulse wave doppler and from here freeze my image when i go into calculations i can choose my side here we're on the patient's right side i'm at the superficial artery proximal and i can put in my velocity calculation once i record it then at the end of the exam when i go into my calculation list i can compare the right and the left side doing advanced calculations of the entire lower extremity
