Hi, I'm Shelley and I'd like to tell you about median nerve AI. For patients presenting with pain, numbness, or weakness in the hand, point of care ultrasound is an excellent tool to assess the median nerve at the carpal tunnel. Portability, high resolution, and ease of use make point of care ultrasound a great choice for diagnosing problems with the median nerve as well as treatment and followup. So to assess the median nerve, we need to image it in cross-section and obtain a cross-sectional area measurement. I'm using the L-15 scanner um in the hand wrist preset. You can also use the L7 linear scanner as well as the L20. So hand wrist preset. I'm going to place my scanner right over the carpal tunnel in the area where I suspect the nerve is. I'm going to activate the median nerve AI and right away we'll see segmentation of the nerve. I can scan until I'm in the right area. And you'll see there's a quality indicator here where if I don't see the nerve to get an accurate enough measurement, it's going to say other. But when I have a good image, it's going to say median nerve. I can adjust the segmentation of that nerve to my liking. And then when I hit freeze, the app is going to perform that cross-sectional area measurement. Now, I can adjust the calipers if I need to, but as you can see, the measurement is pretty spot-on. And we're getting a cross-sectional area measurement of that nerve in the upper leftand corner. I can turn off the AI. The calipers will stay. We can turn it back on again. And then I can save an image. So, as you can see, ClariS has made it easy for you to locate the median nerve as well as perform that measurement in a couple of quick, easy steps.
