Penetration Mode

Shelley Guenther

In order to see deeper structures more clearly, use Penetration Mode. By selecting this mode the frequency of the C3 scanner is lowered and pulse sequencing is adjusted to image deeper structures.

hi my name is shelly and i'm going to tell you today about the new penetration feature on the clarius c3 scanner typically when we have larger patients we are not always able to image at increased depths so clarius has engaged the lower frequencies of the scanner and as well applied some different pulse sequences to enable us to see deeper structures so in this case i'm attempting to get a good look at the abdominal aorta and i can see the aorta at the very bottom of my screen but i wouldn't feel confident about ruling anything out so i'm going to go into the imaging modes and turn on the penetration mode and here we can clearly get a much better look at the abdominal aorta and i could confidently say that there's no aaa in this situation
