hi my name is shelly and i'm going to show you how you can do pulse wave doppler with your clarius pa scanner so to do that acquire your 2d image first in this case i want to determine the velocity of the blood flow through the left ventricular outflow tract so from the four chamber view i'm just going to angle slightly anterior to bring in the aortic valve i'm going to enter into the mode settings press pulse doppler and i'm going to position my gate which is the two little crosshairs on this yellow line i'm going to put that right where i want to start sampling when i'm happy with my positioning i'm going to tap on the other side of the screen and here you can see that i'm getting a nice spectral analysis of the lvot flow
