here we have a diaphragmatic hepatic view here's the liver the diaphragm deep to the diaphragm is the beating heart and as we sweep through we're immediately caught to this black pointed fluid collection here right in between the liver and the diaphragm suggesting of intra-abdominal free fluid the causes of this can be multiple and varied depending on the clinical situation but we don't identify any pericardial effusion around the heart or pleural effusion up into the portal space
