Steering the Color Box

Matching the angle of the color box with the angle of the vessel is very helpful to optimize the color filling in a vessel. This is easy to do by by steering the box.

hi my name is Shelly and today I'm going to talk to you about how to steer the color box on the clarius app so I'm just going to locate the angular artery here and I'll move my color box up just a little bit so that the vessel is in the center of the color box now if I want a little bit more color sensitivity within that vessel I can steer the color box in the direction of the blood flow now if I just move a little tiny bit we can see the vessel is coursing now away from the scanner but I'm not getting any color there so what I can do is steer the box in the other direction and now we can see the arterial flow really nicely so steering the color box can be helpful when you have a blood vessel that's coursing straight across the screen it just helps you get a little bit better color sensitivity within that vessel foreign
