Subpleural fluid collection in the setting of possible COVID is a highly specific finding for this disease

in this video we see the phased array scanner on a lung or abdominal preset here in the sagittal plane in the thorax and here we see a rib shadow coming down and another rib shadow and up at the top is the bright line of the pura and just deep to that pura is a fluid collection with a ragged thickening edge of the pura below it suggestive of a sub plural consolidation as you can see the a lines below or deep to that are completely obliterated and in the setting of covid this is almost a patho mnemonic finding for covet pneumonia but the differential diagnosis would also include other interstitial pneumonias or interstitial fibrosis you
