With the Clarius Scanner we have found a mobile solution for ultrasound imaging. Not only the fast operational readiness, but also the flexible use of the device is convincing. Larger diagnostic devices with cable are less practical , especially for sterile injections. Thanks to the Clarius scanner, we have the possibility to perform these treatments under the best conditions. Experience has shown that the acceptance of the horses is significantly higher than with conventional devices, which simplifies the treatment in many aspects and is less stressful for our patients. The dynamic image adjustment finds always the best setting, which makes a scan more efficient.»

Voice controls are a really useful feature. I liked it more than I figured I’d like it. At first, I wondered, how helpful is it actually going to be? Because I can just reach over and change things on the screen. Then I realized that when I use Voice Controls to make adjustments during an exam, I could place my iPad or phone away from the danger zone of a patient who could knock it over.”

I do believe that the Clarius probably has the nicest resolution of the handheld units that are out there for cardiac imaging. Honestly, it really surprised me. I mean, we could see all the heart chambers we needed to and more. We were able to do the short axis, long axis, four-chamber view, so that really, really surprised me. We were very quickly able to answer the binary questions that we usually do with point-of-care ultrasound.”

It’s a lightweight, portable machine that you can hook up to any of the usual devices that you’ve got. It’s wireless, which is a great advantage as we discussed before. I’ve really enjoyed using the Cloud aspect of the Clarius as well. I teach a lot of people ultrasonography, a lot of vets, and a lot of my students are able to easily send me images for review through the Cloud system. And I can pick that up on any computer that I want to.”

In early 2021, I set up an animal ambulance vehicle as a mobile treatment and operation unit. My aim was to fit in the most modern diagnostic equipment in this small space. After thorough research, the choice for the ultrasound device was clear – I chose the Clarius C3 HD Vet because I examine and treat both small and large animals. This device combines brilliant imaging, fast operational readiness, reliability and simple operation with very small dimensions. The telemedicine module included is an important component for me to share the diagnostics with experts of different core competencies in real-time. This device impresses me every day and also impresses colleagues who use larger and much more expensive ultrasound devices. The Clarius Support Team is just as good and reliable as the device itself.

I’ve been bragging about my Clarius system. I’m impressed with the image quality and I think it’s very reasonably priced for all its features. I compared it to our current system in our clinic that has excellent image quality and was considerably more expensive. The image quality of the Clarius holds its own. It’s just as good for the scans we do in house.

The Clarius C7 HD microconvex scanner provides images as good as I’ve seen on large console machines. Its small size allows me to bring it with me to every appointment. In turn, I have been able to significantly increase the quality of care that I provide by diagnosing problems quickly and easily with certainty.

Clarius ultrasound has changed the way we look at animals and enabled us to provide better care. Animals don’t like being handled and having a lot of equipment around. So, having a small system with an iPad that they’re already familiar with helps us to get an exam done quickly. Since it’s so compact, we can carry it with us anywhere. It used to be difficult to carry our trolley system up and down the stairs.

It has automated presets for vet and it’s very simple to use. The features like pinch to zoom, freeze frame and automatic gain adjustment are just so good. The convenience and simplicity of it is why it will sell so well. You can pull it out, turn it on and away you go – no connecting cables. Compared with the other ultrasounds on the market for the quality you get with it, it is incredibly affordable. Out of 10, I am giving it a 9.4.

The portability, ease of use, and ease of sending images/video loops for referral is simply incredible to have in conditions like these. The quality of the images is also incredibly high. Kudos to the team who developed such an incredible new medical technology, I think it will be very successful!
