Small and ultra-portable, Clarius wireless ultrasound scanners help trained emergency service professionals expedite diagnoses and triage in emergency situations.
“We’re located in a rural area that’s between 30 minutes to 2 hours from hospitals so using ultrasound to assess our patients before we decide where to take them can be a life-or-death decision,” explained Anthony Luk, Battalion Chief at Loving County Ambulance in rural Texas. “It helps us decide if our patient needs to be helicoptered to a level one trauma center or if we can treat them at the local hospital. The Savvik Buying Group is a non-profit organization formed to negotiate group purchasing discounts for U.S. based organizations and agencies looking to source supplies, equipment, and services for less.
