North American Rescue Inks Exclusive Deal with Clarius

Clarius has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with North American Rescue (NAR) to sell the C3, L7 and C7Vet Clarius Wireless Ultrasound Scanners to medical professionals at military and federal agencies. Weighing less than a pound, the ultra-portable scanners are compatible with the latest iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.

“Clarius Scanners are designed to withstand austere environments and NAR is the perfect partner to deliver Clarius into the hands of medical professionals who need access to ultrasound in challenging situations,” said Ron Dickson, Director of Corporate and Government Accounts.

Built with a magnesium case, Clarius Scanners are designed to withstand challenging environments and are water submersible for easy cleaning and disinfection. Clarius Scanners are powered by a rechargeable battery, which is easily exchanged when running low. Two batteries and a charger are delivered with each Scanner.

“We are pleased to be partnering with Clarius to offer their state-of-the-art products. These rugged scanners are ideal for the future requirements of our customer base and they will assist with saving lives by providing early detection and treatment of conditions that would historically be unavailable in the field,” states Jun Magpayo, Senior VP of Business Development at NAR. “This capability meets a requirement during prolonged field care (PFC) due to long evacuation and transportation times.”
