Complication & Septic Focus Management: When treating delayed complications, such as nodules or soft-tissue infections, high-frequency imaging helps identify the root cause.
You can get a patient with an infection and you have no idea the cause of infection. Is it from all the threads that have been inserted there? Is it from recent filler that was injected? What causes the problem”, he says. “But using ultrasound, you can know where exactly the thread is inserted, and you can go directly to the area where you can see the threads and remove them out without doing big incisions.”
Facial Vascular Mapping & Direct Reversal: Using color Doppler mapping before advancing a needle or cannula allows practitioners to map facial anatomy in high-risk zones (such as the nose, temples, and chin) and steer clear of critical vessels. If a complication or nodule occurs, guided reversal or targeted filler dissolution can be performed directly at the site under continuous visualization.
You have to go inside that lump and dissolve it very precisely. And if there is a complication from infection or vascular occlusion, ultrasound helps you see where exactly the filler is placed. And you can target the filler very precisely.”
